James Juaire brings nearly a decade of military legal experience to the firm’s national security practice, having served as a United States Army paralegal from 2017 through 2025. In that role, he supported command-level legal operations across a wide range of matters arising under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, including drafting and reviewing legal documentation, coordinating with leadership on personnel and employee-relations issues that resulted in formal punitive actions, and explaining complex procedural requirements to service members and command staff. His direct experience with military justice processes, command relationships, and the institutional culture of the Army provides the firm—and its military clients—with a uniquely informed perspective at the paralegal level.
During his Army service, James also developed a reputation for process improvement. He authored a standard operating procedure that materially accelerated the administrative workflow of his legal section, reflecting the same attention to efficiency, accuracy, and procedural discipline he now brings to the firm’s national security matters. Outside his military duties, James founded and operated Can-Do Towing, Inc., where he secured and managed service contracts with major corporate clients and oversaw all aspects of the business—an entrepreneurial track record that demonstrates the initiative and client-management instincts that make him an effective partner to the firm’s attorneys.
James earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Keiser University in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating with a 3.53 GPA. He remains active in his community as a member of The Grove Golf Course, where he assists with event coordination, and as a member of the International Port Club at Keiser University, where he contributes to programs that build connection and trust among members.
