Justin PriceImmigration Law Attorney

Former Immigration Judge, Department of Homeland Security Trial Attorney, and Air Force Judge Advocate

Few attorneys have served as an Immigration Judge, represented the Department of Homeland Security in immigration court, and served as a military prosecutor. Justin M. Price has done all three.

For more than twenty-five years, Justin has evaluated, prosecuted, defended, and adjudicated complex legal matters within the federal government. Before joining National Security Law Firm, he served as an Immigration Judge with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), where he presided over immigration proceedings involving removability, asylum, and other forms of immigration relief. In that role, he managed high-volume dockets, ruled on contested motions, evaluated evidence and credibility, and issued written and oral decisions affecting the lives and futures of individuals appearing before the federal government.

Prior to serving on the immigration bench, Justin spent more than twelve years as a Trial Attorney with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He represented the government in immigration court, advised law enforcement personnel on investigations and enforcement actions, drafted briefs and motions, monitored related federal litigation, and counseled government officials on compliance with federal immigration laws and regulations.

Earlier in his career, Justin served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, advising commanders on military justice, administrative law, and operational legal issues while prosecuting courts-martial and counseling investigators on complex legal matters. He later served as an Assistant Public Defender, representing individuals in criminal proceedings and gaining valuable experience from the defense perspective.

Justin’s experience gives clients a unique understanding of how immigration judges evaluate evidence, assess credibility, analyze legal arguments, and make decisions that affect immigration status and future opportunities. Having served as both the government advocate and the decision-maker, he understands how immigration cases are built, how they are challenged, and what often determines success before the federal government.

Today, Justin represents individuals and families navigating complex immigration matters before federal agencies and immigration courts. His background allows him to help clients understand not only the law governing their case, but also how government decision-makers are likely to evaluate the facts, evidence, and legal arguments presented.
