Before joining NSLF, Maria honed her skills across various positions, including as a Police Cadet in her hometown police department, a Paralegal specializing in criminal defense, a Human Resources Specialist for an Army aviation facility, and as Operations NCO for the California National Guard Headquarters. She also served as a Brigade Paralegal for the Army in Ansbach, Germany, where she developed expertise in Military Justice.

Maria is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies at Purdue Global, reflecting her dedication to continuous growth and professional development. Her background includes extensive experience in criminal law, family law, and military justice, making her an invaluable asset to the NSLF team.

At NSLF, Maria supports the Global Entry Appeal and TWIC Waivers and Appeals practice areas, where her responsibilities include case management, legal document drafting, research, and client interaction. Known for her attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management, Maria is also fluent in English and Spanish, which enhances her ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.
